A graduate of the High School of Art & Design and the School of Visual Arts, Matthew Iacovelli holds a BFA with a concentration in graphic and three-dimensional design. His art is greatly informed by history and popular culture. His grandparents, both avid collectors and pop culture fanatics, greatly influence his work.

A Staten Island native, he now lives across the Verrazano in Brooklyn with his two cats, Barry and Susan. Matt is also a huge fan of the Beach Boys, seeing them live in concert over 25 times–starting at age 15.

He is currently working as a designer at SpotCo, a New York City advertising agency that creates artwork for Broadway and institutional theater.
